Advice on Mods
I have enough cash for roughly $1200 in mods either:
Crawford HFC - $485
SGP HFC Installation - $200
SGP ECU Tune - $575
or
JWT Flywheel & Clutch - $800
Dealer Installed Flywheel & Clutch - $400
Given the mods in my signature which option would give me the best bang for the buck?
Regards,
iceman2k

i also say keep ur stock clutch n flywheels til u blow it up....
id get cats and sways if i were you...
but you need to specify if you want to change the sound of ur car or what are you exactly lookin for out of $1200....

Throw $300 at a set of Unrthodox pulleys, another $300 at Stillen Sways (see Gwinninf on the site for the best deals on Stillen) and then your Crawford HFCs.

What will sways do for me? I like the sound with the intake mods and Stillen exhaust. Looking for more HP and Torque.

The Under drive kit will boost your HP as much as 10-12 if you believe the site statements.
The HFC's will add some more
The sways will make you think you're in a 911S.

1. Eichbach Sway bars - $320
2. Motordyne MREV-2 - $122
3. Motordyne 5/16 Iso Thermal Spacer - $252
4. Custom CAI - $120
5. Topspeed Headers - $200 + $150 Ceramic Coat (will get it done soon)
6. Custom Header-Back - $1200 (include Resonated pipes - All custom)
7. Engine Management - $1600
8. FF Full track coilover setup. - $950
9. Alignment Kit - $800
Those are the performance & handling mods in the order of what I've planned and I've gotten to #5 (on the 4th month of owning the G). All are Work In Progress.
I don't think I regreted anything. Everything should balance out nicely.
****Sway bars setup is a must. #1 Priority.
if you must ask, here are my Show mods
1. Nismo Front
2. Elemental Designs and MBQ Audio setup.
3. DD Conversion.
4. Fiberglassing Stereo system
5. 2006 Headlamp Conversion
3. 19" staggered wheels
So far, i only got to 1 and 2 ready for installation 3 & 4 should follow very soon. So is 5. However, 6 is going to take a while. I ran out of cash. I still have my other project car to finish up as well :)
The G is one expensive Toy to play with. VERY EXPENSIVE
