New G Owner with question...

Hi, I just bought a 04 Diamond Graphite 6MT a couple of months ago from a private seller......my question is: I noticed that my car has alot of loud road/tire noise when I start to come to a stop and when I start to go...... More like you can heard the tires rotating.....Is this normal? I know the 18" stock rims/tires play a factor......but its pretty noisy.....

If you have the Michelin pilot's - they are on the "noisy" side. The solution is to crank up the radio....

Enjoy the G!

Welcome to the site!

The alignment may be out. Check your tires for feathering on the edges of the tires. You can do this by running your hand over the inside and outside edge of the tire in both directions. If you feel high spots or ridges then the tires are feathered. Do this for the front and the back. If you find the tires are feathered that is causing the noise. The solution is to replace the tires and get a four wheel alignment. Some cars come from the factory out of alignment causing the problem.

Like Jeremy said the aligment might be out. Also some of the Gs have a slight pull to the right, if your does, they have a updated tension rod for your car. See your local dealer.
Welcome to Frenzy.....
