ZOOP SEAL - Anyone try it?
Anyone ever try ZOOP SEAL for sealing polished metal? Supposed to be pretty good, but it is expensive has helllllllll! Just curious to see if anyone has tried it.

Strange you should ask. I put it on some wheels for the Diablo. It was tricky to put on and had to sit quite a while if I recall correctly. However, it came out VERY nicely and I have had no issues with them yet. THe brake dust still sticks to them but it then rinses right off.

Thats funny you ask about it too...cause someone just told me about the stuff yesterday. I looked it up last night. It is pricey, but if it keeps me from polishing my wheels every 2-3 weeks than I think it will be well worth a shot.

If you are in GA and want to give it a shot, we can get together some time and give it a shot. I picked up a few tricks when I did it last. I think I have enough left for another set of wheels.

I did all the chrome/polished pieces on my SC'd 408 with Zoop Seal.
It took FOR-FREAKING-EVER to put on, but it was worth it.
Any kind of grime/dirt/salt just wipes off as if it were on a powdercoated piece.
I will definitely be putting this on any chrome or polished wheels that I get in the future.
Just be sure to use mild soap when cleaning the parts in the future.

What is it exactly? Is it like a wax/polish or more of a liquid? What is the application/removal like?

Did you guys buy the kit? or the Zoop shine metal polish?
Which one is the right one for your rims?

I plan to do the same when I get a new set of wheels.
Plan to block off the better part of a weekend to do it & make sure you take your time & do it right for the best results.
Good luck!!!

You need to buy the kit, the metal polish, is just that, a polish. The actual kit is a "sealant".

BTW, I used the polish on my grille & exhaust tips, and they looked AWESOME!!!
You may want to consider removing the grille & sealing it, as well.
