No it wouldn't. I did it to my wife's G with G2 Caliper paint, but don't have a picture. This is of her Magnum though, which I also used G2 on:

the magnum brakes above are very easy to do.
-Order G2 caliper paint from tire rack or buy it off ebay, its a little less $$ on ebay.
-Buy a decent 1/4" paint brush from Home Depot, or wherever, the one supplied with the kit stinks.
-Jack up car and remove all 4 wheels. (you need to do all 4 at the same time, because the paint is only good for about 2 hours)
-Clean the calipers with supplied brake fluid.
-Mix the paint according to instructions
-Brush on, going from wheel to wheel, should be able to do 3 coats. The first one won't look that great, but you are just going for coverage. 2 is sufficient, but if the paint lasts, go for 3.
Bonus steps:
- Unbolt calipers from their mounting points.
- remove brake pads and spray paint the backs with high-temp engine paint to match the calipers, or even black.
- remove the rotors and paint them with high temp black also.
this requires a little more work and disassembly/assembly but really makes the job stand out. :headbang: :headbang:

Can't wait to see the finished product Mike! :biggthum:
I saw some on my350z that were painted by hand and they looked really good. Where did you find the Brembo stencil to use?

looks good. I did the same thing when i had my is300. somebody in the is300 forum had stickers that had lexus symbols and they made them to fit the calipers perfectly. wonder if anyone has any nismo stickers like that for us.
after the paint dried I applied the stickers. then I applied a few layers of clear coat. makes the paint stay cleaner and protects the stickers from peeling.

they dont have one small enough for the rear, so I'll just have the B logo.

Greddy makes brake calipers that are Chrome, I really drooled over those. The line is called Grex. Pricey, but pretty and they come in 4 or 6 piston.
PS - That was 100 =)
