When did your car start making the noise? Did it start making the noise right after you installed the underdrive pulley?
Have you checked your oil level, lately?

I think it started a few months after I installed them. The oil level is always good. I will have a look tomorrow at it. my stepdad thinks its normal but when I first got the car it ran very quietly with the a/c on or off. I also noticed before when i installed the pulleys the a/c didn't seem to have as much strain as the stock did on the engine, but now it seems like the pick up is gone when the a/c is on

Does it go away or get better after you give it a little gas? I used to have a car that did this at idle before I gave it some gas because their was no oil around the rocker arms. Thats how it was explained to me.

yea after I start to go it goes away. you can't hear it in the cockpit but mostly when you stand in front of the car

sounds like the samething I had but I'm not a mechanic, so you might want to get it checked out.
Might be worth a trip to the Dealer...
