My dealer told me that they will be ordering my 2008 G37 Coupe the first week in May.

Infiniti has made it an open order that I can select (with some exceptions) exactly what I want in the color & equipped as I want.

Delivery in August 2007 Late

I can not wait.:flame: :flame:

They estimation is $42,600 with 6MT rear active steer, navigation, premium, etc.
I gave them $1000 for first right of refusal.
They will have ordering specs first week in May.
I will copy, paste to this forum.

I'm thinking of going to order mine. I'm going to pay cash so for now i'll probably put down 30k. Dealer said they could come out at around 36k before markup, but that they werent going to mark them up or something like that. It was also the Sales Manager I spoke with so we'll see what happens. He said the 1st truck is almost ordered fully, then if you miss that, the next truck will be in 3 weeks after. He also said he could put the Volks that I want on there too. I go into talk to him tomorrow

OK so here's how I approached it. When we went to the dealer I was intending to get the g37 sedan. My wife saw the coupe and that was it! (I've always wanted the coupe so how could I complain) That was the first week in November and last thursday I heard from the dealer and our order is in Long Beach! It's built, shipped and in port! We should see it in the next week or so. That took 4 months, ugh!!! We went with the G37 coupe because it was there and if it hadn't been we'd most likely have the sedan. I'll post pictures when we get it. It's getting exciting now! Oh, it's an PG,Journey with all of the options except the all whell steering and the sport. Great site and people (we used to live in Aplharetta - Crooked Creek Golf Club) we are back in California now and looking at Phoenix in the future.

No shizzit to that. I just told them what I wanted my dealer located a car like what I wanted on another lot and trucked it over in 2 days.

Our dealer did a full state search (and also two other dealers searched too) and didn't find what I wanted. The thing that tripped it up, causing the long wait, was the option of the Technology package.

Red Emron Congrats, keep us posted!

I heard on AutoLine Detroit that INFINITI will have a Car with some sort of GT-R Trickle Down Technology Happening in 2009 or 2010!

The rear active steer is a great option. I have driven both with and without it and it definately makes a considerable difference. In Japan (where it originated) it is called a hikus (sp?) and it came off the skyline... Congrats on the buy

word on the street is it will be a sedan to act as a flagship for infiniti. should be a competitor to the m5 and e55.
