Daniel... Thats exactly how mine sounded...I just got my G back from INFINITI last week. Sounds like Your axle bolts need tightening. It seems it's a fairly common problem...also Covered by our Warranty :hey:

I think there might even be a TSB on this. If not there should be.

I had mine tightened around 10k and now at 18k I've heard one tick like three different times recently. So basically, if it starts happening again, I guess I can look forward to it every 10k. Total BS.

Arghh that really sucks. I just took my G to Troncalli this morning to get the 15k service done, I decided to go ahead and do since it needed an oil change. I posted this earlier in a thread: My exhaust is making a buzzing sound when I crank it. I went to see what it was and it was the left tailpipe. I put my hand on it to see if that would stop the noise, it just muffled it. I hope it's just a little loose, I will find out in the morning.

Well Troncalli said that they tightened the bolt and it helped a little but it still buzzes. They said I needed to come back and get it looked at again. This really makes me mad, I have to drive all the way out there again because they didn't fix it. I need my car so I can't leave it there, too far for me to come back and pick it up. Whatever.

Didn't they furnish you with a loaner car?

Yeah overnight, it was just a routine service but they obviously haven't had this problem and did not fix it. Who knows. They asked me if its ever been in a wreck and I said h-e double hockey sticks no it hasn't! It's just a little annoying and embarassing.

Mine is clicking in the rear too. Just need to find time to get it to the dealership. The Z's had the same problem. We fixed Jeremy's and the problem hasn't reoccurred.
