Sounds good what were your deciding factors. Also what are you going to do about your warranty. I am going to go FI also soon waiting on the warranty to run out, I want a single or a vortech but I can't decide.

I have 06' G35 C ATSounds great, but that's a pretty big step.

Do you plan on installing it yourself?

Unfortunately the VQ35 isn't really designed for forced induction. Getting the tune-up wrong can do quite a bit of damage. Be careful.

Well....you asked for opinions......

Personally,
#1 - I would never install a turbo kit of any kind with out building the motor. The sudden torque snap inherent with turbos is what breaks things in the stock VQ. You are living on borrowed time unless you beef up the internals.

#2 - I would take the Turbonetics over the APS single. I like the design better and the install is much easier.

Anyway....good luck and I know you will enjoy it!

r u planning on building ur motor eventually? if not, id say go with the vortech sc. if u r, then aps or tn st is a good starting point.

#1 Its not as bad as you think Terry .They are getting better and better with eash kit. No turbo kit more like a rush of toque which S/C don't seem to have.

#2I'd have to go with APS single over TN single. Aps has a oil AND COOLANT cooled turbo which is better for long term use no use for a turbo timer. TN single is just oil which has a spike in oil temps at shut off and a turbo that runs a lot hotter.

It all depends on your end game

The words "APS Single Turbo" cause my blood pressure to rise dramatically. That kit is fraught with some serious and troubling issues, IMHO. Try the APS TT, Greddy TT, JWT TT, or the TN single. Anything but the APS single.
