Where are the inflation sensors on the stock wheels?? When I put on my new 19", do I have to move anything from the old rims to the new??

my understanding is that they are mounted on the inside of the rims. i dont have an 04 so i cant back that with anything except for the info that i have read.

whats a pivot?

If they are like the Z, which they should be, they are part of the valve stem. Is your valve stem made of aluminum/metal and bolted in place instead of the regular rubber? If so, thats it.

When you add larger rims, like I did with my 1st G35, The Low Tire Pressure sensor will go on and off randomly. Basically, its useless without the stock rim.

Mine work fine on the Z with aftermarket rims.
