are SS pulleys worth the money? do you feel a gain in power? I have a stock g35 coupe, 6spd with z tube and k/n drop box filter. I am looking to add some extra power but don't want to have the car sound loud. also how hard are they to install? what brand will you recommend. any info is well appreciated. thanks.

the Stillen pulleys seem to have some good hp gains. its about a 40 min. install with a lift.

They'll add a bit of HP, spice up your engine bay, and reduce parasitic losses.

The change in pulley speed is not going to be enough to really harm anything. You can go to http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/ for more information.

If you are concerned with underdriving, UR offers a set of light weight pulleys that will not change any accessory speeds (Ultra SSC series). You get the weight reduction benefits of 2.75hp per lb (UR spec), without underdriving. The UR site is not so clear as to the part number for the G setup, but I'm sure you could call them.
