Since CHOPS (Mark) forgot to bring his Nice High $$ NIKON. I'm posting these Pics I took with my little pocket camera during his Eibach Sway Bars & Kinetex Camber & Traction Arms Install we did at "Alan's Garage". Alan's Garage, sounds like a Speed Channel show.
We also installed the Kinetex Camber & Traction Arms on my car. Nice Pieces.
I think Alan has one more set of these for sale if anyones interested...

We installed Stillen Sways on BrandO's G.
Here's a link to that install:
http://www.g35frenzy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2113

We also installed an R.E. Short shifter on SH Rogue's G...

I want to thank Alan on Mine, Chops, BrandO & SH Rogue's behalf for the use of his Nice Garage, Lift & his help and assistance with the installs!!!
Four G moders spent the day at "Alan's Garage" working on our G's. It was a lot of fun!!!

Much thanks to Rick for posting a picture of me actually doing something under the car.

If I had all of this to do over again, the suspension would be my first mod!

Thanks guys for all your help. I had a great time! :headbang:

Thanks for all the help guys, and special thanks to Alan for the use of his garage and Brando for taking me back to my place for a part I didn't realize that I'd forgotten until we were almost done installing the new shifter :sign12:

Are there torque specs on how tight to make the bolt from the shifter to the linkage? I hope to install mine this weekend if the rain holds out so any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

SCRATCH that - got the torque specs from the instructions. But my torque wrench isn't calibrated that low unfortunately. Is it basically like 1 or 2 turns past hand tight? Whats a good rule of thumb here? Also, How did you guys get the cup off the old shift knob and how do you know when it's seated properly on the new one? Just wanna find out before I am in the middle of the project.

Oh yeah, I just ruined my pants after seieng that garage!!! That is awesome! Someone must have a very understanding wifey!

Tighten to 10lbs on the Three bolts holding the shifter down on the Trans. I believe 7 lbs for the bolt that attaches the bottom of the shifter to the Trans linkage...I'll double check.
Yea Alan has a Cool wife, every once in a while she'll come into the garage just to say Hi!

CORRECTION...I just found my Rogue Engineering box w/ my old factory shifter & the Install directions for the short shifter. I had it backwards, sorry about that Diesel.

Three bolts holding the shifter down on the Transmission are to be tightened to 7 ft-lbs.
The bolt that attaches the bottom of the shifter to the Trans linkage tighten to 10 ft-lbs.

Chops or Rugs-

Have either of you gotten an alignment yet? I was wondering what kind of specs you were able to get in the rear with the added camber/toe adjustment.

Also, with the sway bars have you noticed any squeaking or rattles?

I was thinking about snatching up Alan's extra set along with some cusco front A-arms and maybe sways.. Eating thru tires gets expensive at $1K a pop!!

Thanks

I haven't done alignment yet. I'm kind of in a pinch at the moment for new tires. I will wait until I get new rubber before doing it.

I have not heard any squeaking or clunking yet.

Same here...mine are adjusted to stock lenght until I get my Michelin PS-2's in two or three weeks. Then those suka's are going to get adjusted. Plus track tires & wheels before too long, so I don't have to tear up my Michelins.
Then I can Go-a-Drift'n again...That's the plan anyway. :conf1:
