LOW DUST brake pads...

I want some EBC Green Stuff pads but I just CANNOT find the darn things online. I've read good things and heard a few things at the Dec meet that makes me want them. Also heard some things about the Hawk, but not as much.

If everyone gives me 2 cents, I might have a buck or two. :happy57:

I would go with the Hawk pads. I just put them on my car and my wife's G over the EBC. The dust is very low on these and they have not started squeaking. I will be trying them on the track later this year.

The EBC are low dust however they do squeak evertime you stop and go. I also had a friend who put them on his car for a track day and they totally melted. You could smell them burning and they did not hold up well under high stress.

I also would tell everyone considering the EBC rotors not to buy them. The rotors made a ton of noise when the pad goes over the dimples in the rotor.

I pulled the pads and rotors off my car in two months since they were bothering me so bad.

I'll probably be going with Hawks when I'm ready.

If you want the Hawk ones, call Z1 and ask for John or pm him. They're not on the website yet, but I'm pretty sure they are a Hawk dealer.

Try www.Tirerack.com. You may also want to consider the Satisfied Ceramic pads (dust has been nonexistent for me) and if you have Brembos, you can't beat the price.

Yeah.. been to Tire Rack, nice site, used to have them.

I'll show support for Z1 in a week or so after some feedback. Great so far!!
I was leaning toward the EBC, now I'm looking at the Hawk.

Not really sure. When I had stock brakes I had the EBC's and RugRatCoupe has them with his Brembo's.

I saw the Hawk pads for the standard brakes, not sure about the 6MT.

I will be down there this Sat or the next, I will be sure to check them out. I am hatin' on some dirty wheels.

I bought the Satisfied Ceramic pads from tire rack. I love them. I can see the brake dust on the rear wheels before the front one are even dirty. I don't even have to wipe them down for a week. :happy65:
