yeah the car would look better with a new hood, new upper and lower grills, new wheels, that side vent filled in and no graphics.

That car is a clusterf**k of crap

Why is it that the ugliest cars get sponsors...?
Jesse james needs to stick to bikes and not car wheels.

Do you think they sell rice on the businesses on the back of the picture? To match the wheels, I mean.

hey buddy,

i agree those wheels are terrible....but how are they rice..????

i wouldnt expect someone from princeton, IL to know anything about import culture. please dont use any of the terms if you dont even know what they mean.

Im not a fan of the Chevy-Tahoe Style billet grills at aLLLLL! The wheels would def look better on a SUV or a Benz in a G-Unit video...BUT, the SuperCharger peeking out of the painted carbon fiber hood is awesome! (IMHO) Rear vents...eehhhhh, good idea, bad execution... :iceslol:

Sponsers = Stickers...otherwise no graphics!

Bottom Line: Not my style, but prally faster than mine he he he

LOL! Are you offended in any way by my comment? I sincerely hope not. To clarify: I think the wheels are too big, too heavy, and garish. They do not belong on a sports/luxury GT car just as some accessories do not fit well on a small import car. Example: a huge rear wing on a FWD car. I hope this lays the subject to rest.

And by the way, could you please educate us folks from the state of Illinois on the meaning of the slang word "rice"?

my defination is a car that is modded to seem fast but really isnt.

i feel that this car isnt rice cause its supercharged. its pretty legit.

rice is an inherently racial term. As an asian american who grew up in the san gabriel valley (where it started in the US) , this offends me. The schene was born and is fuel by the need to be different. Im not saying we were the first to mod cars (american muscle) but we were the first to mess around with economical imports. Kids started to modify civic, accords, eclipses, ect to enhance the looks as well as performace. From this we saw some 10 second imports but lots of cars people would consider "rice".
The problem is that when people look down on something (calling it rice) when the culture thrives on being different from the norm. It all comes down to a socio-economic issues. The bottom line is that someone who doesnt have the means to fix up thier car the "right" way gets called a ricer.

ive been in this schene since its inception and have mostly seen it all. I believe in the mantra - "to each his own". In my opinion, i rather see a young kid fix up his ride so he/she can express themselves through thier cars than some middle aged person trying to relive thier youth through the import schene.

in no way am i being confrontational, just trying to eduacate and enlighten.
*flame suit on* hahahah

The term "Rice" has been brought up before on my z site as being racial. I would appreciate if people on this board would not use it.

Also NO FLAMING!!!

 :sign24: I have always hated that term.
Why can't people just accept that others have different tastes and respect their individuality!

That car isn't quite what I would do either but the owner is an enthusiast so don't be a :sign28: Just because he has different taste than you!

How is rice racial? The imports are known as "rice rockets" It has nothing to do with the driver being asian. Hell the majority of the "ricers" I see around here are either white, black or latino.

I also refer to domestics drivers as mullet heads ;)

That car having a procharger doesn't make the body "legit". Just cuz that car is fast (and probably very bouncy on airbags) doesn't mean its ok to make it look like a bondoed up $hitbox. That car sucks, he gets no respect for having zero sense of style :Thug:

my original arguement was that , yes this car is def not "clean looking" but it isnt rice. He has the power to back it up. if anything, i think your grill is "rice" cause it makes the G look like a civic. deal with it

If The car looks like $hit, it will continue to look like $hit no matter how much power that car is making.

A civic ha! nice try pal.

I have seen fads come & go through the years...and it looks like PC is making a comeback.

Individuality I understand, but not at the expense of a 30 lb anchor of a rim with its weight concentrated at its periphery. The car will have poorer handling as the heavy wheel follows ruts and road imperfections. It will have poorer acceleration because more force is required to move a heavier load. A brake upgrade will be necessary because the greater momentum of a heavier wheel will make for longer stopping distances. Forced induction might remedy that going fast on a straight line but not when it's time to brake or turn a stock car will surely beat him on the track.

So in the end you have a person spending unnecessarily a great amount of money and time making his car worse than stock.... But to each his own.
