View Full Version : My interior overhaul and Kenwood DD lots of pic

Well its finally done. All parts had to be recleared and minor problems with my Kenwood have been resolved. Hope everyone likes it cause I know I do. Im pretty satisified but I know next time I do one it will be so much better. I didnt have time to wet sand and buff everything due to a local show tomorrow plus being swamped with helping a friend build a handicapped accessable bathroom.

So anyhow here they are. Let me know what you guys think. Im slowly trying to get my feet wet and get into custom painting.

I can try not sure what works with what yet. The first time I did this I used DP the color of my sedan and it was hard to see so I went with silver and got this effect. What color were you thinking? I can try something if your interested in getting your pieces done.

Nice work. What color is that exactly? Do you have any smell of paint in the car?

Its very tranparent silver paint shot over a black base. While silver is wet plastic wrap is used to make the effect. Not sure what it would be called. There are no paint smell at all.

Well the House of Kolor website may give you some ideas. Google marbelized paint and there are a bunch of pics. I found this one guy who paints guns and he had some different cool effects. Since my interior is black its easy to match. Ill try to find some links and pics to post up.

looks pretty interesting man. It gave me the "suede" feeling to your interior pieces. Nicely done.
