Not sure whether it's cool or sad that I'm the first to post on this part of the forum, but if anyone else in Blighty owns a Skyline 350GT/G35 Coupe, then how about saying hello.

It must be cool living somewhere where you never see another g35 on the road, you must get a lot of looks.

In Atlanta, I see a g35 almost every time I drive my car, and I drive a whopping 2 miles to work. I swear Atlanta probably has the most g35's per capita out of every city.

I don't know, I live in Warner Robins, which is really tiny compared to ATL, but every where I go there is another G.

Ahhh...yes I do remember him. He didn't stay and talk long enough!

I know right? I wanted him to sit and make conversation! LOL.

Differences...um its all badged as a Nissan, it might have cloth seats (I think that is standard), no governer, um...lol its missing the "brake fluid" cover that the USDM G35s come with (on the battery side)...its just the opposite. Right hand drive more than likely... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-Skyline-350-GT-Coupe-2003-52-350GT_W0QQitemZ130102558931QQihZ003QQcategoryZ1823 8QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

WOW! What a response. I only posted yesterday and look at the number of replys....!

Well now, where do I begin? Firstly...there are a quite a number of 350GT's in the UK and even a few badged as G35's, we mostly post on G35driver.com, but yeah they are very rare in the UK. I remember the first time I drove it in my home town, after a few days I needed an operation to take the permanent grin off my face :104:. Everywhere I went, people couldn't stop staring. I even noticed them in my rear view mirror taking pictures on their cellphone cameras. I reckon I have the most photographed car in Sussex :love29:.
When I drove it to my local Nissan dealer it brought the place to a standstill whilst all the staff came out to take a look. It was so embarrassing.

I've joined a local Jap car club and I'm the only one with a 350GT. The members are really cool and we meet on a Monday evening on Brighton seafront (where they have the famous speed trials once a year).

Now...as for pics. I don't have any pics with well known locations but I'll make a point of looking for some and post them when I can. In the meantime here are a few of my beast.

The carbon bonnet was imported from USA. The brakes are AP Racing 6 pot. The middle pic is one I took when I first picked it up...before modding it. The 4th pic was taken at a well known bikers Sunday meet car park. And the last one was taken on the way to a joint meet between our car club and a neighbouring club. We met at Goodwood race track and 108 cars turned up. Great meet!

Thats all for now. Will keep posting. Cheers for the warm welcome guys.:toast:

I never knew you could fit stock wheels over a BBK

Nice pics of your car! Funny that McDonalds is in the background of the last pic.

I like the color of your car. What year is it?

great pics! you even have an impul bumper, sweet. im definitely jealous of the brakes.

The brakes were a very tight fit, with millimetres to spare. In fact once they were fitted and I drove the car the first 6 feet, they stripped the wheel weights off :iceslol:.

The car is a 2005 model with half leather interior, Bose sound system and pop-up satnav.

Since buying her I've fitted the Impul bumper, AP Racing front brakes (will do rears when they need replacing), a very loud Injen twin S/S zorst with burnt tips (keeps the neighbours curtains twitching), a Popcharger intake kit, vented Carbon Fibre bonnet and refurbished the stock wheels with anthracite paint.

She's now running at 295bhp, as confirmed by a recent rolling road test.

Hope to do more mods when money permits

LOL...only slippery when wet. Hahahhaa!!! The only thing is the lighter leather shows dyes and stains from colours!

just a heads up, its pretty tough to fool around in there. im not that big but you have to do some maneuvering to really have any fun. if the girls cool with it then that just makes it easier. :leseratte
