the new V8 M3 420hp... i think it will. not to mention better suspension than a normal 3 series... i think it will....

For what it's worth...and with a few exceptions, I venture to say most guys on this forum wouldn't be able to drive either car (Cayman S or E92 M3) even 8/10ths on the Nürburgring not to mention all-Out to their Full potential!

Some of you people are really hung up on hp.
lets see from TGPR from times that I've been
Stock Cars
Blue C6 Z06 - 1:10
Yellow C6 Z06 - 1:13
White M6 - 1:10 (with good driver)
Black Cayman S - 1:11 (with mediocre driver at best)
The first 3 are 500 hp cars
and look what a few bolt ons will get you.

Don't be crappin on the Gayman! im not haten on the cayman. i just saying if you start off with something that much better you have enough handling to beat a lesser car with the same driver

ya but anybody can slap hp into a car, redoing a car's chassis and suspension for the track is a lot more difficult.

true but we arent talking about road racin record we are taking about the cars that are available form that website... the new M3 i believe will wax any other car available.

7:50 - M3 CSL (sport tyres)
8:11 - Porsche Cayman
8:35 - BMW M3 Coupe 321 HP
different track, who knows. still 2 sweet cars.

the only numbers i could find for the new v8 m3 were around 7:58 but im not 100% sure so dont hold me to it. the csl m3 has a lot more mods too...
